Finn Skodt
Finn Skodt was a Danish designer born in Copenhagen in 1944 and died in Copenhagen in 2019. He was a leading exponent of contemporary Danish textile design, and his work was characterized by an innovative and experimental approach.
Skodt studied textile design at the Institute of Industrial Design in Copenhagen, where he graduated in 1971. After graduating, he worked as a freelance designer for numerous Danish companies, including Kvadrat, Paustian and Fritz Hansen.
Skodt's work is characterized by an innovative use of colors and materials. His fabrics are often inspired by nature and culture, and focus on creating products that are beautiful, useful, and sustainable.
