The VG491115F belongs to the Gaggenau Vario gas line, designed for those who want direct control of the gas flame. The 90 cm format is integrated into the modular Vario system, where each element has the same standard dimensions and the same stainless steel finish. A hob that reads like a single professional block.

5 burners: optimized configuration
The arrangement of the 5 burners is designed to maximize functionality in 90 cm. The high-quality cast iron burners guarantee a stable and uniform flame, resistant to drafts. Each burner is calibrated for its size, offering the right power for every type of cooking.

Gas supply: compatibility and installation
The VG491115F is designed to operate with natural gas. The gas conversion kit (where not included) is available as an accessory. Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with current regulations. The safety thermostat interrupts the gas supply in the event of accidental extinguishing of the flame.

Cast iron burners: professional durability
The cast iron pan supports and burners of the Vario gas hob are designed to withstand intensive use over time. Cast iron distributes heat evenly across the base of the pan and withstands high temperatures without warping. Cleaning is simple: the grids can be removed and washed separately.

Modular Vario system: create your own custom hob
The VG491115F is part of the Gaggenau Vario system: you can combine it with gas hobs of other sizes, induction, wok or steam modules to create a completely customized hob. All elements have the same height and the same finishes for a consistent and professional visual result.

Depending on the type of installation (free-standing or flush-mounted, with or without lid), the position of the recess and the knob may vary.

Align the knobs with the burners

Always follow the knob installation drawings. If the panel is thicker than 23 mm, allow for a space at the back.

If combining several Vario 400 series appliances, the VA 420 connecting element must be used between the various appliances. Depending on the type of installation, the corresponding connecting element must be provided.

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take into account the weight of the appliance and additional loads.

Additional instructions for flush installation:

Installation is possible in stone, synthetic, or solid wood worktops. Thermal resistance and watertightness of the cut edges must be observed. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer.

The groove must be continuous and uniform to ensure correct positioning of the appliance on the gasket. Do not use a discontinuous covering.

The width of the joint may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the cutout in the worktop.

If installing multiple appliances in individual niches, allow for a space of at least 50 mm between the niches.

Special nozzles can be ordered separately.

The electrical connection is essential for the operation of the appliance.

Ensure that the rear wall and the slats are made of a non-flammable and heat-resistant material.

Leave a minimum distance of 50 mm. 30 cm between the hob and heat-sensitive surfaces or apply thermal insulation.

Possibility of installation in 90 cm base units.

With a total power consumption exceeding 11 kW, local regulations regarding ventilation, room dimensions and the combination of extractor or recirculation hoods must be respected.

The minimum distance between the gas hob and the wall unit above it is 76 cm.

The minimum distance between the hob and the hood is indicated in the installation instructions for the extractor unit.

Combination with the VL 414 extraction center is not recommended due to the excessive distance between the central burner and the hood itself.
