Three-Way Coaxial TCA Driver

Improving the performance of the Baltic while retaining the original 27cm spherical enclosure forced the Cabasse team to rethink the triaxial driver from the ground up. This led the team to develop a unique, ultra-lightweight aramid diaphragm in-house to produce new bass/mid-bass and midrange cones.

These concentric cones provide a larger radiating surface area and almost no diffraction from the minimized radiating areas. The homogeneity and purity of the diffusion from highs to lows is consistent. The gain in rigidity without compromising on weight allows the use of new, more powerful rare earth magnets.

The efficiency and power handling of the Baltic 5 have been significantly improved. The simultaneous production of both membranes by Cabasse Robotics ensures reliability and consistent performance.

HDSE Filters

The Cabasse measurement protocol in the anechoic chamber takes into account both measurements on the listening axis and at 360° for perfect control of directivity and global output power, in line with the Cabasse HDSE principle (homogeneous distribution of sound energy). The direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous and the soundstage is wide and stable.
