What makes OMDE easy to use are its capacitive controls that allow you to choose between three water dispensing options
- MICROFILTERED WATER AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: Filtration of public water from the aqueduct, without further treatment.
- COLD MICROFILTERED WATER: Direct filtering and cooling of public water from the aqueduct, without no accumulation. You can adjust the temperature using the appropriate thermostat
(Be careful not to raise the thermostat excessively as it could cause the water in the coils to freeze, blocking its flow. If this happens, lower it again and turn off the 'plant for a couple of hours.)
- COLD SPARKLING MICROFILTERED WATER: Direct filtering and cooling of public water of the the aqueduct, with subsequent addition of carbon dioxide. It is possible to adjust the carbonation degree using the special pressure reducer placed above the CO2 cylinder.
- BOILING MICROFILTERED WATER: span > Ideal for the preparation of tea and herbal teas, the closed pressure kettle technology allows a high heating speed with low energy consumption, allowing the water to reach a temperature of 95 ° C.

FILTER
OMDE warns the user when the time to change the filter arrives, one year after the first start, with the appearance of the alarm" CHANGE FILTER ". To change it, it is necessary to remove the exhausted filter by turning it clockwise, then wet the gaskets of the new one with water, push it inside the head and screw it anticlockwise. Once replaced, before using the device, take 5 liters of water at room temperature to remove the carbon dust from the new filter and prevent it from going into the cooling and carbonating circuit.
CO2
When CO2 runs out inside the system, OMDE will deliver still water even if you select the sparkling water option; it is therefore necessary to replace the cylinder by unscrewing it from the pressure reducer and installing the new one, making sure to screw it well and firmly until it stops. Once the change has been made, before using the device, continuously withdraw at least 2 liters of water to restore the correct carbonation. The exhausted cylinder is 100% recyclable and must be disposed of in the iron container.
INSTALLATION
It is very important that the housing unit has an open back to allow the hot air to escape. If you want to install the product in a column with an oven, it is advisable to place it below this. The heat of the oven, rising upwards, would overload the compressor - whose task is to cool the ice bank - with consequent greater electrical consumption and wear of the compressor itself. It is essential to pay attention not to obstruct the radiator, located to the right of the system, in order not to overload the compressor and prevent it from heating up. In order to install the OMDE distributor you need a tap with 3/8 female connection and a Schuko electrical socket. The installation kit includes an 8 mm pipe with a length of 2 m (on request it can be increased up to 10 m) and a quick connector with 3/8 male thread.
POWER
Once the system has been installed, first fill the ice bank and only then connect the incoming water. The ice bank is full when the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks in the small transparent tube on the right of the system. After opening the tap, turn on the system by pressing the green button, take 1 liter of water at room temperature (black carbon dust water will come out because the filter is new) and after 5 minutes turn on the kettle with the red button. p>
