The JBL L100 Classic Black Edition speaker is inspired by the original iconic vintage L100 speaker, introduced in 1970 and the consumer version of the famous JBL 4310 Pro Studio monitor; Over time, the L100 has become the best-selling JBL speaker of all time.

JBL has managed to achieve something rare with the L100 Classic Black Edition, creating a fashionable combination retro and vintage spirit represented by a grille made of Quadrex foam, a characteristic driver array and the presence of the L-pad attenuator, on the front part of the speaker, which allows the adjustment of the high frequency output level allowing adaptation to the conditions of the room.

L100 Classic Black Edition, a modern development of original technologies on a vintage basis, is a large three-way speaker with front ports where all the elements have been improved and, if necessary, replace: drivers, cabinet tuning and crossover. Highs are provided by the new JT025Ti1 25mm titanium dome tweeter with waveguide and acoustic lens which improves integration with the 125mm midrange driver with polymer-coated pure cellulose diaphragm. Furthermore, the L100 Classic Black Edition provides powerful bass thanks to the 300 mm woofer with a cast frame in a bass-reflex cabinet.

L100 in limited series, includes a Black Edition Performance Package , which offers woofers with an updated design that allows for greater linearity, improved tweeters and midranges and a significant modification of the crossover, which includes doubling the input terminals - gold-plated - for use also in bi-wiring.

The sound of the L100 Classic Black Edition speakers is incredibly open and compact at the same time, the dynamics are extraordinary; they are fast, dynamic and not tiring even after long listening sessions. The band of the L100 Classic Black Edition is very extended in all directions, the imaging is excellent and there is great depth which, with scaling of the instruments, offers a broad acoustic panorama.

L100 Classic Black Edition is easy to fly; Unlike other JBL products, these do not need an amplifier with a high output to present their full potential. The L100 Classic Black Edition can be set vertically or horizontally, although the vertical position is recommended.
