HERITAGE CD200 CD Player

Updated version of our best-selling CD player, with a new DAC section and modernised digital inputs. Works both as an excellent CD player and as a standalone DAC in your Hi-Fi system or with your computer.

All products in the Heritage range use the same elegant brushed aluminium chassis, available in two different finishes: silver or black.

The on/off switch is located on the underside of the chassis, towards the front left. The CD transport controls are toggle controls. They're quirky, different and uniquely YBA, and a good thing in this increasingly anonymous and homogenous world. They're also incredibly enjoyable to use. Skipping a track is much more satisfying when you can flick a spring-loaded toggle up or down than pressing a button. The same goes for pausing and resuming playback. Pressing the pause button to pause playback and then down again to restart it offers a completely different and truly satisfying feeling.

On the rear panel you'll find fully differential balanced outputs via XLR connectors, unbalanced outputs via RCA terminals, a coaxial digital output (useful if you want to use the CD200 as a transport with an external DAC), coaxial and optical digital inputs (for using the CD200 as a DAC with an external CD transport or older CD player), and a USB Type-B input, which provides the CD200 with a computer interface, allowing you to play files stored on your computer, including DSD files.
