Aluminum Magnesium Ceramic (AL-MAC™) Tweeter with Exclusive Phase-Aligned Perforated Tweeter Lens

AL-MAC™ is our proprietary blend of aluminum, magnesium, and ceramic, each contributing to the ultimate goal of greater accuracy and realism. Their special properties help create a final product that is not only strong and lightweight, but also incorporates natural anti-resonance to ensure that the tweeter doesn't just sound good "on paper," but actually sounds incredible in the real world.

Similar to the goals we had in mind when developing the AL-MAC™ tweeter, AL-MAG™ was engineered to deliver the same high level of performance in the area where our ears are most sensitive. Additionally, AL-MAG™ combines a high stiffness-to-mass ratio with superior internal damping for greater precision.

Advanced Shock-Mount™ System

Mechanically decouples the die-cast aluminum baskets from the specially formulated integrated CARBON-X™ baffles, reducing performance-compromising vibrations and resonances between the chassis and the acoustic platform. Without these resonances, all drivers are free to deliver pure, unadulterated sound without audible distortion.

Oversized 1.5" High-Power Voice Coil

The motor structure dramatically increases maximum output level and reduces power compression.

Patented† Active Ridge Technology (ART™) surrounds
