Product Details

Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957, the AJ lamp is one of Arne Jacobsen's most significant design icons. Initially, the product range included a floor lamp, a wall lamp, a table lamp and a smaller table lamp, as well as a table lamp designed to be attached to the table. The AJ table lamp has an iconic and graphic shape, which aligns perfectly with Jacobsen's design style and contrasts with the curvature of some furniture in the SAS Royal Hotel. The timeless design of the lamp makes it perfect for any interior environment and over the years the shades have been adapted to modern interior trends.

Lighting system

The table lamp emits light directed downwards. The screen angle can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. The screen is painted white inside to ensure a soft and comfortable light.
