Space Tune™ enhances your audio experience by optimizing the sound space to suit your specific listening environment. It offers four convenient presets: Free, Wall, Corner and Shelf (Free, Near a Wall, Corner and Shelf), so you can adjust the settings best suited to your acoustic environment and installation location. The L/R Custom function allows you to enter separate settings for each individual speaker. For even more precise control, you can select "L/R Custom" in the Technics Audio Center application, allowing you to precisely adjust the sound to your listening position and deliver the best audio quality anywhere in the room.

LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration)

Speaker impedance changes depending on the frequency, which can make it difficult for conventional amplifiers to deliver consistent sound quality. This problem is even more acute in digital amplifiers due to the use of low-pass filters, which can further impact performance. To address this problem, we created an adaptive speaker impedance optimization algorithm. Simply run the "LAPC measurement process" with the remote control, and the technology will measure the frequency and phase characteristics of the amplifier connected to the speakers and digitally correct them in real time. The result is smoother, more balanced sound with greater depth and spatial clarity for a richer listening experience.

Rich listening experience thanks to new speaker units and acoustic lens

Our 8cm woofer unit has been significantly improved to deliver superior sound quality. Thanks to a lighter voice coil, optimized airflow, and a more robust diaphragm, you'll enjoy clearer, more responsive mid- and high-frequency sound that's comfortable on the ear. The 2cm high-resolution dome tweeter features a lightweight silk diaphragm, delivering beautifully long-lasting sound that enhances the listening experience. Additionally, the acoustic lens is optimized for the new tweeter shape, creating a wider, more immersive sound.

Versatile multi-room music streaming

With multiple Google Cast™ speakers, you can stream your favorite music services to multiple rooms simultaneously, or even play different songs in each room*. Plus, if you use the Technics Audio Center app with other compatible Technics devices, you can enjoy a variety of music sources in multiple rooms. This includes Bluetooth, AUX, optical input, USB, Internet radio, and even OTTAVA™-compatible streaming music from the SC-C70MK2. Enjoy versatile, seamless music streaming throughout your home! *Google Home app required.

Immersive listening experience with acoustic calibration

The SC-C70MK2 takes full advantage of the built-in microphone in iOS devices to measure room acoustic conditions. By analyzing factors such as room size, layout, and furniture placement, it gathers precise data about how sound behaves in your specific environment. Using this information, the system automatically adjusts DSP (Digital Signal Processing) parameters to optimize acoustic performance, ensuring the best possible sound quality for your environment.

All the music sources you want:

Superior quality wireless audio - The SC-70MK2 supports a variety of music sources, including CD, radio, optical digital input (e.g., TV), coaxial digital input, USB input, and more.
