In 1993, Onkyo became the first consumer electronics company to achieve THX Certification. Thousands of tests were conducted before earning the THX Certification logo, ensuring impeccable audio and video quality. The TX-RZ70 offers four different THX listening modes: Cinema, Game, Music, and Surround EX.

Klipsch Optimization Mode

Klipsch and Onkyo collaborated to define precise crossover values, allowing the Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers to be perfectly matched to the new Onkyo receiver. Simply select the speaker model for each channel and the optimized crossover setting will be applied automatically.

Compatible with DTS Play-Fi - DTS Play-Fi lets you enjoy high-quality music from online services, network media servers, and your device library over Wi-Fi® to an unlimited number of compatible products using the Onkyo Music Control app for iPad, iPhone, and Android smartphones/tablets. DTS Play-Fi lets you sync music in every room. Each member of your family can use their own device to listen to their own music in a specific room. DTS Play-Fi lets you create a complete multi-room ecosystem that can meet virtually any need.

Compatible with Sonos Certified Products - This receiver becomes the central hub of your existing Sonos system simply by pairing it with a Sonos Port*. This Sonos-certified amplifier offers a simplified connection to the Sonos ecosystem: thanks to the "Volume Pass Through" feature, you can easily adjust the volume of the entire system from the Sonos app. The TX-RZ70 can work with up to three Sonos Ports, one for each of the three independent zones, each broadcasting a completely different service from Sonos Radio.
