The Advance Paris A12 Classic is a powerful stereo amplifier (190 W/channel) in dual mono configuration, offering a wide range of connections: HDMI, USB, Phono MM/MC, RCA, AES-EBU, optical, coaxial, XLR/RCA outputs and double cabinet. The preamp tubes ensure a warm sound, while Bluetooth connectivity (optional) completes its audiophile performance.

The "tube" sound - The A12 Classic is equipped with 2 tubes in the preamplification section for a musical and non-aggressive sound.

Bluetooth for everyone - The A12 Classic is equipped with a connector compatible with the X-FTB01 (aptX) and X-FTB02 (aptX HD) Bluetooth dongles for a simple, high-performance connection. This allows the A12 Classic to receive music from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

The Advance Paris A12 Classic combines a tube preamplification with the power of a class AB transistor power amplifier. This stereo integrated amplifier is designed for those who want a complete system, capable of accommodating analog and digital sources, turntables, and a TV.

With a power output of 190 W per channel into 8 Ohms and 280 W per channel into 4 Ohms, it offers ample reserve to drive even demanding speakers. The front panel, embellished with the characteristic blue VU-meters, gives the device an immediately recognizable identity.

Independent power supply for each channel

The dual mono construction features two dedicated toroidal transformers and separate power lines for the left and right channels. This architecture limits mutual interference and helps preserve stereo signal separation.

The Class AB power stage combines high output capacity with low distortion. The stated frequency response extends from 10 Hz to 35 kHz, while the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 103 dB.

The dual speaker connections, selectable in A, B or A+B modes, allow you to drive two pairs of speakers depending on your system configuration.

Tube preamplification and configuration flexibility

The preamp section uses two JJ ECC81/12AT7 tubes, with Class A operation in the gain section. This hybrid solution combines tube preamplification with the driving capability of a transistor power amplifier.

The preamp and power amplifier sections can be separated, allowing the A12 Classic to be integrated into more complex configurations or used as a preamp or power amplifier alone.

Balanced RCA and XLR pre-outs are available, as well as bass and treble controls with ±10 dB adjustment. The bypass function allows you to exclude the tone controls from the audio path. When switched on, the tube warm-up time is approximately 25 seconds before playback.

HDMI ARC allows you to integrate TV audio into your stereo system, making the A12 Classic also suitable for listening to films, concerts and TV content.

For wireless playback, you can add one of the optional Advance Paris X-FTB01 aptX receivers or X-FTB02 aptX HD, available for purchase separately.

Analog connections and MM/MC phono input

The analog section includes five RCA line inputs and two balanced XLR inputs, offering space for connecting multiple sources in the same system.

Vinyl enthusiasts have a dedicated phono input configurable in MM, MC High and MC Low modes, compatible with both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. The Rec Out output also allows you to connect an external recorder.

Headphone listening and subwoofer integration

The 6.35 mm jack headphone output has two impedance settings, 0 Ohm and 100 Ohm, to adapt the connection to headphones with different characteristics.

The two subwoofer outputs, with selectable cut-off frequency at 75 or 150 Hz, allow you to complete the system with external subwoofers and customize the reproduction of low frequencies.
