The PrimaLuna EVO 400 is the most prestigious model in the Evolution range of all-tube integrated amplifiers. Each unit is assembled with hand-crafted point-to-point wiring and uses oversized proprietary transformers, designed to ensure stability, control, and high-quality reproduction. The Adaptive AutoBias system automatically manages the correct operation of the tubes, helping to maintain constant performance and extend their life over time.

Two listening modes: Ultralinear and Triode

One of the most interesting features of the EVO 400 is the ability to modify the amplifier's sonic behavior by choosing between Ultralinear and Triode modes.

In Ultralinear mode, the amplifier delivers 70 watts per channel, offering energetic and dynamic reproduction, accompanied by excellent speaker control. This configuration is recommended when you want greater impact and superior driving capacity, even in the presence of particularly demanding loads.

Selecting Triode mode, the power increases to 38 watts per channel and the sonic character becomes more intimate, harmonious and velvety. Voices become more natural, while jazz, blues, classical music, and acoustic recordings are reproduced with particular refinement.

The ability to quickly switch between the two configurations allows you to adapt your listening experience to the characteristics of your speakers, the musical genre, and your personal preferences.
