Hygiene tested - Carefree washing: Thanks to the Hygiene or Intensive programme in combination with PowerDisk or UltraTabs, over 99.9% of viruses (e.g. coronavirus, influenza or norovirus) are reliably removed. This was confirmed in a test by the Institute of Hygiene and Virology. The Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences also attests to the outstanding hygienic cleaning performance of Miele dishwashers*. In the hygiene test, over 99.99% of bacteria (Enterococcus faecium) were removed with AutoDos and PowerDisk in the ECO and QuickPowerWash programmes at 65 °C. And the Hygiene program reduced the bacterial load (Enterococcus faecium or Micrococcus luteus) by at least a factor of 10,000, even without detergent.

AutoOpen Drying - The dishwasher door opens automatically at the end of the program and leaves a small gap. With the support of the fan, warm, moist air can be directed out of the wash tub and even the most demanding loads, e.g. plastic dishes, dry perfectly. A special exhaust duct protects the worktop from moisture.
