Design

The PerfectWave PowerPlant 20 is PS Audio's highest-performing pure power system. Featuring 16 outputs (US version) divided into 5 separate regeneration zones, the P20 can receive signals from 15- or 20-amp lines to regenerate an entirely new AC waveform, free of distortion or voltage fluctuations. The P20 integrates an ultra-low impedance analog power amplifier and an FPGA-based DSD engine that delivers the cleanest, lowest-noise sine waves of any regenerator in the world.

Output

The P20 takes your home's noisy, distorted, and unregulated AC power and transforms it into pure, flawless power that dramatically improves sound quality. This is done by reconstructing the AC power, reducing the output impedance, and regulating the voltage. Low output impedance is essential for maintaining dynamic reproduction. Powering your equipment through a passive power conditioner only exacerbates the problem and should be avoided. The Power Plant, on the other hand, has such a low output impedance (0.008Ω versus the typical 0.4Ω) that even the most demanding amplifiers will have no problem supplying clean AC power. When your amplifier needs to reproduce high orchestral sound levels, it's crucial that it has all the power it needs, and only a Power Plant provides consistent output regardless of the dynamic demands of your equipment or noise from neighbors. Power Plants also generate new waveforms that enhance the capabilities of your equipment.
