The production processes used are based on environmental respect and the LEAN philosophy.

Environmental respect is implemented with recycling processes: two examples of this are the recycling of waste material from the processing of steel and brass and the reuse of water used for the production of VOLA products which, after being cleaned, is used again in the production process.

VOLA has implemented the transition to lead-free brass processing in accordance with the law enacted in California in January 2010 (Californian Health and Safety Code AB1953).

VOLA has also been certified with ISO 18001 (for the work environment - worker health and safety management system) and ISO 14001 (for environmental management).
