E. Souto De Moura
Eduardo Souto de Moura is a Portuguese architect born in Porto in 1952. He is considered one of the most important contemporary architects, and his work has been characterized by a minimalist and rigorous approach.
Souto de Moura studied architecture at the Porto School of Architecture, where he graduated in 1979. After graduating, he worked as an assistant to Álvaro Siza Vieira, one of the most important Portuguese architects of the 20th century.
Souto de Moura's work is characterized by a rigorous use of materials and forms. His projects are often inspired by the local context and culture, and focus on creating buildings that are beautiful, useful, and environmentally friendly.
