Installation precautions

Each VL must be connected to a remote motor unit

Hobs with a width of up to 80 cm can be installed between two VLs, except for the CX 482 hobs

Vario hobs such as electric grills and gas wok hobs should be placed between 2 VLs

Recirculation operation is not recommended in combination with Vario electric grills

For optimum performance in air recirculation, an exhaust surface of at least 440 cm² is recommended

If installing near a gas hob, use the AA 414010 deflector accessory

The appliance is equipped with fixing springs that block the hob after insertion from above

Depending on the type of installation (free-standing or flush), The cut-out configuration and the position of the knob may vary

If you combine several appliances from the Vario 400 series, the connection element VA 420 must be used between the appliances. Depending on the type of installation, the corresponding connection element must be provided

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take the weight of the appliance and additional loads into account

Additional instructions for flush installation: Installation is possible in stone, synthetic or solid wood worktops. The thermal resistance and watertightness of the cut edges must be observed. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer

The groove must be continuous and even, so that the appliance sits correctly on the gasket. Do not use a discontinuous covering

The width of the joint may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the cutout on the worktop
