The Magnetar UDP900 MKII is a universal player compatible with DVD, Blu-ray, UHD Blu-ray, SACD and DVD Audio. The digital section features a high-power switching power supply, while the analog section features a dedicated toroidal transformer, all paired with Rubycon electrolytic capacitors. The main components (Murata, Elna, Red Wima, NCC) are separately shielded to reduce vibration, noise, and sensitivity to electromagnetic interference.

The Magnetar UDP900 MKII includes an ESS9038PRO DAC for the XLR and RCA stereo outputs and an ESS9028PRO DAC for the 7.1 RCA analog output. The aluminum alloy chassis is structurally reinforced, bringing the overall weight of this player to a whopping 15.5 kg. It is compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ on the video side, and DTS:X and Dolby Atmos on the audio side, Hi-Res Audio certification and support for DSD files (up to 5.6 MHz).

Advanced image and audio processing technology - High-quality copper circuitry is used throughout the device, in addition to the PCB connectors that have been upgraded to JST and Amphenol brands, improving both the stability and reliability of the connections.

Immersive audio/video experience - The ESS9038PRO DAC offers stereo and multi-channel outputs. With the XMOS USB audio input capable of handling PCM768 and DSD512, the UDP900 MKII offers premium audio output. The TMDS retimer function on the HDMI AUDIO port also improves the audio quality.

Maximum Compatibility - Added a USB3.0 HUB chip and redesigned the USB3.0 power supply to improve the compatibility and stability of the USB3.0 port, so it can better match USB flash drives and hard drives. The optimization also improves the stability of data transmission and increases the transmission speed, thus achieving better audio and visual effects.
