Synthesis Roma 69DC Digital-to-Analog Converter - Black

Synthesis is launching a new digital-to-analog converter, the ROMA69DC.

The Roma 69DC features a USB Type-B port, DSD 5.6 MHz support, and an optical input. 32-bit resolution delivers a fantastic soundstage and flawless audio reproduction.

The use of an ECC88/6DJ8 valve in the output stage, in a differential configuration, ensures perfect matching with the DAC output (Asahi Kasei AK4495S), achieving very low output impedance and an extremely wide bandwidth. Particular attention has been paid to the headphone output. Thanks to a high-fidelity driver, we have achieved incredibly natural sound reproduction: the soundstage is simply perfect!

To support this, the design includes an oversized shielded power transformer to reduce interference. A series of high-quality metallized potentiometer capacitors controls the audio signal circuits. The most important component of this unit is powered by a fully regulated multi-stage power supply.
