The two-way midrange/tweeter of the MCl 70 range is a development of the unit responsible for the continued success of the Cabasse Eole coaxial satellite. It offers faithful timbre reproduction and provides a soundstage with unrivalled realism and depth in its price range, both for stereo and multi-channel use.

The specific shape of the 13 cm driver unit has been specifically designed by Cabasse for maximum mechanical rigidity and low frequency use, resulting in deeper bass without colouration. The voice coil mounted on Kapton is perfectly ventilated: its high power handling and its acceleration capabilities are exceptional. The Cabasse measurement protocol in an anechoic chamber takes into account measurements on the listening axis and at 360° around the speaker for perfect control of directivity and global power output according to the Cabasse HDSE principle (Homogeneous Distribution of Sound Energy). The direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous, the sound stage is wide and stable.
