The Primare I35 DAC is a high-end integrated amplifier designed to deliver extremely refined sonic performance and operational versatility, thanks to an advanced design and audiophile-grade components. Based on the proprietary UFPD 2 (Ultra Fast Power Device) Class D analog technology, it is capable of delivering a power of 150 W per channel into 8 ohms, while ensuring high efficiency, wide bandwidth and extremely low noise.
The analog section stands out for the use of super-selected components and a power supply stage completely isolated from the audio circuitry, a solution that helps preserve signal integrity and improve overall dynamics. In terms of connectivity, the I35 DAC offers 2 balanced XLR inputs and 3 RCA inputs, as well as 2 RCA outputs (pre-out and record), making it suitable for complex systems and advanced configurations.
The integrated digital-to-analog converter is based on the AKM AK4497 chip, compatible with signals up to 384 kHz/24 bit and DSD 256, ensuring detailed and natural reproduction of high-resolution digital sources. The digital equipment is comprehensive and includes 4 optical inputs, 2 coaxial RCA S/PDIF inputs, 1 RCA S/PDIF digital output and 1 USB-B input.
In terms of control and integration, there is an RS-232 port, 12V trigger, 3.5 mm IR inputs/outputs, as well as an elegant OLED graphic display that shows source, volume and other operating information. Power consumption is optimized, with just 0.5 W in standby, while remote control is entrusted to the C25 remote control.
Finally, the system is designed to be upgradeable thanks to the possibility of integrating the optional Prisma module, which adds streaming functionality and network connectivity, making the I35 DAC a modern and complete solution for high-fidelity listening.
